Transfer Funds From One Account to Another
Question:
How do I transfer funds from one account to another in Fusion?
Answer:
There may be an occasion where you have a request for transfer of funds between accounts. Example: Child A leaves school with £5 balance, and parent requests to transfer remaining funds to Child B.
In this example, we have to minus off £5 balance in Fusion to ‘£0.00’ for Child A and add £5 balance to Child B.
Here's how you can transfer the funds:
1. Select 'Users' and search for 'Name' of Child A. Please note, Child A may be located under 'leaver' if not visible.
2. Select name and click 'Add value' for each child
3. Set Child A with a minus value of the remaining balance (-£5.00), set the Payment Type as 'Balance transfer' and add a 'Reference'
4. Set Child B with a positive value of the remaining balance (+£5.00), set the Payment Type as 'Balance transfer' and add a 'Reference'
5. Click 'Save' once complete for each child individually
Balances will be updated for Child A and Child B immediately.
