Using the School Calendar in Fusion

Question:

Why is it important to use the school calendar functionality?

Answer:

A School Calendar needs to be configured with term dates to allow for the system to function correctly and to automatically add or take away Free school meal and Supervisor allowances.

This is also especially important when using Fusion Online (pre order), so users cannot pre order food when the school is closed.

All configured term dates will be displayed as below:

Term dates are colour coded:

White: Unknown - A term date has not been configured for this day(s)
Green: Open - The school is open as normal on this day(s) for till service and pre-orders
Red: Closed - The school is closed on this day(s) for till service and pre-orders

Only one academic year can be set at a time.
